QC In-charge

The role of the QC Incharge is that products must meet the required quality standards, ultimately ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing product recalls or defects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervising Quality Control Team:
  • Lead and manage the QC team to ensure they are following proper procedures and working efficiently.
  • Provide guidance to team members on quality standards and testing procedures.
  • Active participation in PCB kit & Sample process control.

2. Ensuring Product Quality Standards:

  • Establish, monitor, and enforce quality standards for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Gaining an understanding of the client’s needs/Process/Audits/Rejection and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams.

3. Inspecting and Testing Products:

  • Control on the testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Use various testing methods (e.g., visual inspections, Operational test & its analysis and mechanical tests) to identify defects.
  • Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.

4. Documenting and Reporting Quality Issues:

  • Maintain detailed records of all quality checks, inspections, and testing results.
  • Report any deviations from quality standards to senior management and recommend corrective actions.
  • Keeping accurate documentation. Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.

5. Managing Non-Conformances and Corrective Actions:

  • Identify and address any non-conformances or quality issues in production.
  • Develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to resolve quality problems and prevent recurrence at stage from Incoming to Customer end.
  • Actions on rejection from incoming up to customer end.

6. Improving Processes:

  • Analyse product defects and production processes to suggest improvements in quality.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce defects.

7. Coordinating with Other Departments:

  • Collaborate with production procurement and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall production quality.
  • Provide quality-related input during product design and development phases.

8. Training and Development:

  • Organize training programs to ensure employees are well-versed in quality standards, tools, and techniques.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
  • Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.

9. Maintaining Equipment and Tools:

  • Ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

10. Audit and Compliance:

  • Lead or participate in internal and external audits related to quality management systems.
  • Ensure the company complies with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Gaining feedback from the clients, attending meetings, submitting reports, and assisting external auditors and inspectors.
  • Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.

Education-

B.E. or Diploma (Electronics, Electrical, Electro – Mechanic)
